Find out about our fantastic team here at Holliday Veterinary Hospital including our veterinarian Dr. Sue Beacock and all the animals they love.

​Sue Beacock DVM, Dip. V. Surg.

Dr. Sue Beacock graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 1979. She obtained a Diploma in Veterinary Surgery in 1982. She also served as Head of the Equine Field Service out of the Ambulatory Clinic at OVC from 1988 until 1993. Her first 17 years of veterinary practice were devoted primarily to dairy cattle and horses with some small animal medicine and surgery. After starting a family in 1994, practice dedication gradually shifted primarily to small animal medicine and surgery with a specific interest in critical care and emergency medicine.

Dr. Beacock looks forward to continuing her dedication to small animal medicine, surgery and critical care. She strives to provide the best possible care to all patients and clients that she has the very great privilege to meet.

​Daniel Minardi, DVM

Dr. Daniel Minardi graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2021 and joined our team the same year. He has a keen interest in small animal internal medicine and surgery. In his off time he enjoys going camping, hiking and portaging and continues a love/hate relationship with the Toronto Maple Leafs hockey team.

Courtney – Registered Veterinary Technician

Courtney graduated from the Veterinary Technician program at St. Clair College in 1995, became registered the same year, and maintains her registered veterinarian technician status. She joined our team as an RVT in June 2017. Courtney loves the outdoors, especially hiking with her Golden Retriever Ruby and German Shepherd Nora. Bootsie, her senior cat, wisely waits out the hiking antics in the comfort of her home.

Becky  – Registered Veterinary Technician

Becky graduated from the Veterinary Technician program at St. Clair College in 1990, became registered the same year. She likes to play Ringette and Softball and spending time with her animal population at home which consists of horses, dogs, cats, chickens, and pigs. Becky has been a puppy raiser for the national service dogs of Canada and has raised 3 litters for them.

Amanda  – Registered Veterinary Technician

Amanda graduated from the Veterinary Technician program at Ridgetown in 2013, became registered the same year and maintains her registered status. In her spare time she enjoys working in her garden and spending time with her Whippet, Tulip, and cat, Obi.

Miriam  – Registered Veterinary Technician

Miriam graduated from the Veterinary Technician program at Ridgetown in 2020, became registered the same year and maintains her registered status. In her spare time she enjoys going for walks and reading with her kitty, Roo.

Nikole – Registered Veterinary Technician

Nikole graduated from the Seneca College Veterinary Technician program in 2016. She became a registered veterinary technician the same year, and retains registered status. In her spare time Nikole enjoys taking care of her small zoo at home. She has a Shepherd-Husky cross named Ivee, 4 male cats; Malachai, Remy, Spot, and Wendel, an albino hedgehog named Heath, a corn-snake named Elliot and a tank full of fish. She also enjoys gardening and spending time with her family.

Sandy – Client Care Representative

Sandy is our Receptionist with over 30 years of experience in the veterinary field, she enjoys chatting and getting to know our clients and their animals. She is usually the first voice and friendly face you will see when coming to our facility. When she’s not at work she enjoys spending time with her family as well as her cats; Groucho Marx and Herman Munster.

Amy – Animal Care Aid

Amy started here in 2018 as kennel staff but has quickly grown to become a valued veterinary assistant aiding in anything from reception to helping the veterinarians and technicians to managing day to day office procedures. She likes to spend time with her Australian Shepherd, Quill, and Shetland Sheepdog, Copper, working towards getting them competition ready for canine agility and other dog sports. She is presently in an apprenticeship to become a dog trainer.
